We teach people how to treat us. I've heard this saying many times and I believe it to be true.
Women have pretty much always been loyal to the Democratic Party and they have until now been the support group for male candidates. We, as women, do the majority of the phone calling and letter mailing and sadly the making of the coffee. We are dependable and by virtue of that very loyalty we have taught the Democratic Party to take us for granted.
Well, for me, no more. I will not be taken for granted and I will not be the support group for the good ole boys club any longer.
The Democratic Party, IMO, sold me out. For the first time in history we had a viable female candidate for president. So what does the leadership of the party do? They run a black male candidate against her. They push forth a 2 year Senator....an unvetted, rookie senator to run against Hillary Clinton. Why they did this is no longer important to me. The fact they did do this is enough to make my blood boil.
So, boys, if you make Obama the nominee, I hope you have a good Starbucks nearby with delivery service because I will not make the coffee or fetch it.
I will not be party to teaching the Democrats that they can continue to take women for granted.
